Nutcracka – 2022/05/24

Dark and gritty lofi boombap… made dawless with mpc1000, sampletrak + sp’s. Sampled some jazz vinyl with the zoom sampletrak for that poor man’s sp1200 ring and chopped that on the mpc1000. Sampled a drumbreak from the homie @barrelproof’s drumbreak samplepack (link!) with the sp-202 for extra grit and chopped that on the akai mpc1000 as well. Structuring and fx were all done inside the mpc1k Sp-555 was used for live fx, sp-303 for vinylsim compression. Final jam was recorded on akai gxc-710d tapedeck. Hope you’ll like it! ✌🏼🖤
